Install

Better Tab Switcher works in Google Chrome and in Microsoft Edge, version 123 or later. It is free, and you don't need an account.

Install it from your browser's store

• In Chrome, open Better Tab Switcher in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.
• In Microsoft Edge, open Better Tab Switcher in Microsoft Edge Add-ons and click Get.

The store keeps the extension up to date for you.

Pin the toolbar icon

Pinning the icon is optional. To keep it in the toolbar, open the browser's Extensions menu (the puzzle piece next to the address bar) and pin Better Tab Switcher.

Clicking the icon also opens the switcher. Opened this way, the switcher stays open until you choose a tab.

Try it

Open a few tabs, then press Alt+S (Control+S on a Mac). Use the switcher explains the rest.
